Greatness On Display
Composed of rescued, pure and mixed breed, and small to large dogs, the Purina® Pro Plan® Performance Team performs daily at Purina Farms and travels the country to show everyone what great dogs can do. These dedicated dogs and their trainers perform disc routines, dock diving, and manuevers through agility courses. Check out our Events page to find when you can catch them in action.

- John Casey
A carpenter by trade, John started training dogs in 1990 to compete in flying disc for fun. In 2000, he joined the Purina® Incredible Dog Team. He performed with rescue dogs all over the U.S. for six years before helping to start the Pro Plan® Performance Team at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, Mo., in 2008. Though he no longer competes in flying disc, John continues judging and volunteering at competitions. Meanwhile, he performs with his dogs in around 500 Pro Plan® Performance shows a year.
"I feel very fortunate to get to work with these world-class athletes on a daily basis," John says. "It's unbelievable how far they've come."
- Tracy Custer
Tracy's path to the Pro Plan® Performance Team began when she and her husband, Adrian, adopted two highly energetic dogs in need of an outlet for their energy. The couple started training the dogs for fun in agility, then doing flying disc competitions. Tracy began performing with the dogs and ended up going on the road with the Purina® Incredible Dog Team in 2006. Two years later, she helped start the Pro Plan® Performance Team at Purina Farms.
"It's super special to have the ability to take dogs people have given up on and show what they can do in sports," Tracy says. "It's a testimony to the greatness of rescue dogs and demonstrates why people shouldn't lose faith in the dogs they have."

His team’s six dogs are disc dog world champions, dock diving world record holders, and flyball champions that all love performing in front of people just as much as their master, which shows in their notoriously high energy and fun filled demos.
