Provide a dish of clean, fresh water at all times. If your cat refuses water, you can moisten this cat food before serving. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN

Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

This product is not appropriate for growing kittens or females in stages of gestation or lactation. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding any of the Pro Plan Kitten Formulas.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAMPLE PACKAGES:
FEEDING GUIDELINES

Use a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup, which contains approximately 112 g of product. When first introducing Pro Plan to your cat's diet, mix small amounts of Pro Plan into your cat's current food. For maintenance, feed 1/2 - 2/3 cup for an average cat 8 - 10 lbs. (3.6 - 4.5 kg) body weight, depending upon activity level and age of your pet. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Always provide an adequate supply of fresh water in a clean container each day.

Adult Cat: Fill your cat's bowl every morning and allow your cat to eat on a free choice basis. Increase or decrease serving size according to the weight and body condition of your cat.
